Cinnamon Tiger SwirL Soap

My entry into this month's soap challenge
(http://soapchallengeclub.com) is a soap made with
Homemade Craft Beer by a local beer makin' guy,
Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, & Rice Bran Oil.

The Soap Challenge Club has a monthly soaping
challenge in which a tutorial is given to learn a new soap technique.
This month's challenge is called a "tiger swirl". For the tiger's stripes
I used Activated Charcoal, Sandalwood Powder, Cinnamon Powder,
and a combination of Madder Root and Annato seeds
infused into Olive Oil.

The soap is scented with the Essential Oils of
Bergamot, Cedarwood, and Patchouli.
Yeah, smells woodsy, outdoorsy, like a tiger...kinda....
Ok, Ok, smells grrrreat!

  2. Really cool! What`s the dragon in the picture? Did you do it yourself? Awesome handmade mosaic tiles you got there. I`m also trying myself at mosaic, previous works were only with glass

    1. Thank you! The mosaic is a life sized tiger. The blog shows how it was made, go back to the first several blogs to see photos, 2011, I think.

  3. I love the colors and that you used beer (I like to use homemade beer for soaps too).
    The scent combo sounds yummy.
I wish you would have used your second pic for your entry photo - it makes the soap the star of the picture, rather than the background (I tend to use too many distracting backgrounds myself and am constantly working on not doing that).
