My Mother

My beautiful mother, at least 75 years ago.
I instantly recognized the locket,
I have her jewelry box, you see,
I know everything in it by heart.

At this point I could tell you my mother taught me to bake,
no, I don't remember her being so happy in the kitchen.
So, this self taught baker just made a
molasses ginger carrot cake,
yeah, its as good as it looks.
Tea and Cake anyone?

What kinda dog is This??

You might think this is a corgi dog,
no, it turns out she is a broc-collie.
(here I thought my broccolii was being eaten by
a ground hog, but no, bro-collies are
ground dogs!)
