Concrete Leaf Workshop

We had a concrete leaf making workshop
before the frost killed all my giant Elephant Ear Leaves.
Everyone had fun and went home with a pretty concrete leaf.

Pretty little pretty little pretty little giraffe eyes.....

Jim is circling the giraffe eye with adhesive
in preparation of placing the ceramic eye he made.

Jim has to hold the eye in place for 10 minutes
for the glue to harden up.

Now, onto gluing the tiles on.
Do you like the giraffe's blue mohawk?

A Tall Story

Giraffe gets ears!

Giraffe goes for a ride to the tile studio.

We made the 3 mile trip in one piece.
The giraffe has arrived at the studio where
mosaic tiles will be cemented onto his wire armature.
